SMOOTH JIVE CLASSES

WASDA runs two Smooth Jive / Modern Jive / Ceroc classes.

Tuesdays weekly, at the Jandakot Hall in South Lake

Wednesdays fortnightly, at the Shenton Park Community Centre.

Alternating Wednesdays at Shenton Park are open for social dancing with a reduced entry fee.

Come to our dance parties on the first Saturday of every month.

Modern Jive is known for being easy to learn and adaptable to a wide range of music genres.

It is a fun and accessible dance style that can be enjoyed by people of all ages and skill levels.

Classes are casual. No booking required. You can join any week you like.

If you don't have a partner, not a problem at all as we rotate through the class.

All classes are suitable for beginners as we go through the basics each time.

Lots of time to social dance, practice what you just learned, and have fun.

And because it's so easy to learn, you will be able to social dance in no time.

Standard entry is $15 per person for the whole night, or $10 with a WASDA active pass.

Cash or electronic payment accepted.

Both nights have the same format:

7:00pm - Doors Open / Social Dancing

7:15pm - Main Class

8:00pm - Social Dancing

8:30pm - Extension Class

9:00pm - Social Dancing

9:30pm - Close
