MONTHLY DANCE PARTY

On the first or second Saturday of every month, it's Dance Party time with WASDA 💃🏽🕺🎉

​Every WASDA Party is an opportunity to learn something new with our Free Intro Class held at 6:30pm before the main event. We're excited to offer another Social Dancing Crash Course, led by our regular teachers, Amy and Dave.

It is suitable to all dancing skill levels, whether you are a first-time attendee or just wanting to refresh your skills. This class focuses on basic lead and follow techniques, moving to a beat, and understanding the music... all the skills you need to join in and have fun for the rest of the evening.

The party begins at 7:30pm, with open social dancing running late into the night!

📍Venue:

Shenton Park Community Centre - 240 Onslow Road, Shenton Park

​

💲Cost:

$15 per person, WASDA Active Pass welcome.

Cash or electronic payment accepted.

🕰️ Schedule:

6:15pm: Doors Open
6:30pm: Smooth Jive Introduction Class, led by our regular teachers, Amy and Dave.
7:30pm: Open Social Dancing until late

 🎶Music:

We provide a great mix of music suitable for a range of informal partner dance styles (including Modern Jive, West Coast Swing, Blues, etc.)

​

 🍽️Food:

Please bring a plate to share, so that everyone can keep full of energy for the whole night.

🧃Drinks:

We provide a good range of free soft drinks (alchohol-free event)
